Sunao, a Japanese word meaning honesty, reflects the quiet beauty of simplicity. Each plant pot is shaped with a timeless elegance that allows nature to take centre stage, whether cradling a delicate herb on a kitchen windowsill or anchoring a lush statement plant in the garden.
The collection unfolds in two surface expressions. The first is a smooth fibre concrete finish, offering a refined clarity that complements interiors defined by calm and balance. The second is the Beehive texture, a living dialogue with nature. Cast from shellfish found along the shoreline, its organic surface invites touch and celebrates the raw poetry of the natural world. Durable and weather-resistant, these fibre concrete plant pots are designed for both indoor and outdoor living, allowing greenery to thrive seamlessly across spaces.
Every plant pot is hand-glazed to achieve a soft, matte finish, carrying subtle, one-of-a-kind variations that stand as hallmarks of true craftsmanship. Inside, a waterproof glaze ensures functionality, allowing roots to rest in harmony with their vessel while supporting the vibrant growth of the plant.

Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, we’ve been working for years with highly skilled ceramists to create a signature palette of natural faded earth tones and tactile finishes. Characterized by its complexity, ceramic is both robust and delicate, soft and crisp.
Coming from a high-quality fine clay, all ceramic products are made from mould and burned in oven. Afterwards each piece is hand painted by brush with up to four times, to achieve a soft brushed surface with a patinated texture like suede leather. Variations will be visible on the same pieces, as well as tones and amount of texture will vary from piece to piece.

Maintenance:
The product should not be exposed to direct sunlight and extreme temperature conditions. Avoid high UV exposure. For daily cleaning, a dry or wet cloth can be used to remove dust or dirt. However, cleaning products containing acid should not be used as they may harm the surface of the product. It is also advised to avoid sharp objects as they can harm the surface of the product.
