Inspired by the Japanese concept of “sunao”, a quiet devotion to honesty and purity, this collection of plant pots embodies a harmony between form and function.
Building on the essence of the original Sunao collection, the Sunao Plant Pot Fat series introduces a distinctive shape that retains the recognizable Sunao silhouette but with a wider, lower profile.
Indoor and Outdoor
Born of durable fiber concrete, the Sunao pot is at home both indoors and out, weathering seasons with grace. A gentle drainage hole, paired with a perfectly fitted saucer, nurtures the quiet rhythm of growth honoring both the plant and the space it inhabits.
Texture
Sunao comes in two texture variations. A clean surface in Birch and Black colour and Beehive texture, emphasising a tactile and organic surface. Made from casts of shellfish found on a beach, the vase is a true wonder of nature.
The colours may vary slightly, due to that it’s a hand glazed surface. The inside is glazed with waterproof lacquer, Sunao is 100% waterproof and can be used for fresh flowers.
